House Rules
Please help us keep our homes wonderful for every guest.
- Parking Park only in the driveway or designated parking areas. Do not park on grass or landscaped areas, as this may damage the underground sprinkler system. Overnight street parking is not permitted unless expressly allowed by local authorities.
- Noise — MOST IMPORTANT Quiet hours: 10:00 PM–7:00 AM. Keep indoor and outdoor noise to a minimum during quiet hours. Outdoor music, loud gatherings, and pool use are not permitted after 10:00 PM. If you are outside after 10:00 PM, conversations and activities must remain very quiet. No parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings.
- Guests Only registered guests may stay at or use the property. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Additional or unauthorized guests may result in additional charges or termination of the reservation.
- Trash & Recycling Sunday after 5:00 PM: Put out trash and recycling. Wednesday after 5:00 PM: Put out trash only. Place bins at the end of the driveway facing the street. After pickup, return bins to their designated area. Do not leave trash bags outside the bins. Two gray trash bins and one blue recycling bin are provided. If recycling is full, you may use a trash bin.
- Smoking & Pets This is a smoke-free house. Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors. Smoking is permitted outside only; please use the provided ashtrays. No pets are permitted unless approved in writing before arrival.
- Fire & Security The home has a monitored smoke/fire alarm system. If you accidentally trigger an alarm, contact us immediately so we can notify ADT. Avoid activities that create excessive indoor smoke. Security cameras are located at the front of the house for safety and security. The burglar alarm is disarmed during your stay.
- Air Conditioning Keep all doors and windows closed while the AC is running. Do not set the thermostat below 69°F. When leaving for an extended period, set the thermostat to approximately 77°F. Leaving doors or windows open may cause the system to shut down.
- Pool & Outdoor Areas Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult in the pool area at all times. Use pool emergency equipment only as instructed. The spa is closed and is a restricted area. Pool and recreational amenities are used at your own risk, subject to applicable law. Close umbrellas whenever they are not in use. Return pool toys to the garage after use. Turn off pool and outdoor lights when they are not needed.
- Beach Towels & Furniture Do not take bath towels or linens to the beach. Use the provided beach towels. Beach towels and beach equipment must remain on the property at checkout. Please rinse sand off before entering the house. Do not sit on furniture with suntan oil. If using sunless tanner, hair dye, or tinted moisturizer, please use your own towels.
- BBQ Check and clean the grease trap before and after use. One propane tank is provided as a courtesy. If it runs out, exchange or refill it at the nearby Lowe's.
- Property Care Please treat the home and its contents with care: Report damage, maintenance issues, or safety concerns immediately. Do not move heavy furniture or the pool table without permission. Use appliances only for their intended purpose. Clean spills promptly. Use cutting boards rather than countertops for food preparation. Do not flush sanitary products. Do not dye hair inside the property. Remove makeup before sleeping to help prevent stained linens. Do not move, tamper with, or adjus
- TVs & Wi-Fi/Streaming Roku instructions and troubleshooting information are provided in the house binder. YouTube TV is provided for guest use. Due to streaming limitations, please do not stream on all TVs simultaneously.
- Supplies Guests may use the provided: Paper towels Toilet paper Coffee, filters, sugar, and non-dairy creamer Dish and dishwasher detergent Laundry detergent For extended stays, guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are available in the garage. Hotel-size shampoo and soap are provided; please bring any preferred personal toiletries.
- Pool Service Pool service is normally provided Tuesdays and Fridays, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The pool technician may enter the pool area during this time to clean the pool and balance chemicals without advance notice.
- Checkout — 10:00 AM Before leaving, please: Close umbrellas and return pool toys to the garage. Load and start the dishwasher. Run one load of towels without bleach. Do not strip the beds. Return patio furniture to its original position. Place trash and recycling in the appropriate bins and at the curb when applicable. Turn off all lights, including patio and pool lights.
